Billing and delivery

Top-ups or manual credits increase account balance. Generation is settled according to the model, resolution, duration, reference inputs and actual usage. No physical goods are sold here, and availability of every listed model to every account is not guaranteed. Digital results are delivered through website tasks or workspaces.

If an international payment involves another currency, taxes or an exchange rate, the amount and currency explicitly displayed and confirmed before payment apply. No fictitious USD or other currency-equivalent packages are defined here. Top-ups and purchased digital services are generally non-refundable; unused balance is not available for routine withdrawal or change-of-mind refunds. Statutory refunds, billing errors and services not supplied as agreed are handled as exceptions under the Refund Policy.

Seedance video generation rates

Rates below are per million billable tokens, NOT per second or per video. Higher resolutions and longer videos usually require more tokens.

Estimated tokens ≈ (output seconds + billable input-video seconds) × width × height × 24 ÷ 1024. Estimated CNY = tokens ÷ 1,000,000 × unit rate. Settlement uses server-recorded usage and the rate applicable to that task, rounded to two decimal places in CNY.

Video-reference tasks use a different token rate but also include input-video duration, so they are not necessarily cheaper for the same output. Aspect ratio, adaptive duration, video editing and extension modes also affect estimates.

What does a 5-second video cost?

All examples use 720p, 16:9, 5 output seconds and no video-reference input: approximately 108,000 tokens. These illustrate the formula, not a fixed charge for every task.

Seedance 2.5 drafts and final videos

Drafts are 480p and currently use the corresponding backend 480p billing rules; they are not a free trial. A draft can only be converted to a 1080p final video, and each stage is charged separately. Payment for the draft does not make the final video free or automatically offset its charge. Confirm the separate estimate before generating the final video.

This page snapshots the current rules; subsequent commercial price changes will be explained without rewriting confirmed orders or historical consumption.
